Update

São Bento Grande de Angola is the name of a rhythm played on the berimbau.  This rhythm is predominantly used with today's contemporary capoeira.  The rhythm suggests a capoeira game where anything goes, in that there are no "do's and don'ts" in the roda nor in the game. From the ritual to the fight, from the expressive to the objective, from the lyrical to the literal, all is allowed with this rhythm, generally speaking.
